There are special rolling pins to buy for Diamond Painting and you have probably heard people say they are using them to roll their paintings. Then why do you do this? Well, you do that to get the drills stuck to the canvas. Applying pressure to them is the best way to do this. With a rolling pin it becomes easy to apply a hard pressure and get it evenly over all drills. If you have some drills popping up, a rolling pin can help you keep them down.

Wooden rolling pin
A rolling pin made of wood that sits together with metal. The whole lot is 7,5 inch (19 cm) long and the roller itself is 2,7 inches (7 cm) wide and 1,7 inches (4.3 cm) deep, see below image. I think the rolling pin is small and flexible. You get good pressure with it, but if you are going to roll a large painting, you probably want a rolling pin with wider head. Plastic rolling pin

Rolling pin with wooden handle and silicone center
A rolling pin with a wooden handle and a middle part made of silicone. The whole rolling pin is 8,86 inches (22.5 cm) long, the middle part of the plastic is 3,94 inches (10 cm) long and each handle is 2,17 inches (5.5 cm) long. There are four different colors to choose from; orange, blue, red and green. This rolling pin is made for use with both hands and if you have larger areas it is preferable.
